This is my favorite place to film in Florida. Designed by the legendary architect Addison Mizner in 1926, this mammoth Mediterranean-village resort sits amid lush gardens and formal courtyards on a private ocean beach, golf course and marina. We shot some of Caddyshack’s classic scenes in the ballroom, which doesn’t seem to have changed. Morgan Green, who was public relations manager, was kind enough to arrange for the Biography Channel to shoot the special Caddyshack: The Inside Story at this beautiful location.
